Relay for Life

The Relay for Life is a fundraising event conducted by the NSW Cancer Council which also raises awareness of a healthy lifestyle that helps reduce the chances of cancer.

It is a 24 hour event that requires teams to keep a baton circulating around the track all day and all night while the rest of the team camps out in the centre of the track.

The Eastern Shire Catholic Community Liaison Office challenges any student in Years 10, 11 & 12 to form teams in their school or parish. The school or parish that raises the most amount of money wins.
